Why Information & Communuication ?	Information or knowledge is the key to overall development of mankind. Today, knowledge acquisition, storage and its sharing have gained immense importance. Sharing of information with others is the motivation behind communication. Whenever we communicate, we exchange information, knowledge, ideas, experiences and also our feelings. Human beings have been communicating with each other from a very early period of their evolution.
Ways of Information & Communuication	Cave paintings, stone inscriptions, rock sculptures, smoke, fire, beating of drums are some of the ancient ways of information communication. Semaphore towers, Morse code, telegraphs, telephones, radio, television gradually changed the world dramatically. In today's modern world, with the advent of digital technology, intelligent mobile handsets, computers, internet, communication satellites, optical fibers, laser gadgets and other image processing gadgets have become the most important tools of information communication. In fact, the new information communication technologies are helping people to remain in touch with each other from anywhere in the world at all times and these are turning points that made globalisation possible. The information communication technologies have shrunk our world to a global village.

Observe your digitized shadow on a large LED screen. Modulate your voice signals and see as well as hear them. Use the Morse keys to send coded messages. Experience the joy of virtual reality games. Understand the marvels of information technology in the field of medicine. Identify yourself at the biometric sensor and get entry into an intelligent home. Scramble the image of your face on a screen and reassemble it again. Here, one can swipe his/her credit/debit card and see the encoded information. Play with the bar-code laser gun and understand how it operates in departmental stores. Videophones and video conferencing can also be experienced here. The internet kiosks allow visitors to surf through an ocean of information. Message encryption and deciphering techniques, Global Positioning System, 3-D Modeling are also presented in the interactive exhibits here.

It aims to provide an insight to the technologies of future, which will perhaps change the culture, and the lifestyle of every individual.
