The notion of computing is much more fundamental than that of computers. In fact computing has been a primary activity for all civilizations. In the dim millennia of prehistory, people counted on their fingers, scratching marks on bones or using stones. Early civilizations had developed sophisticated numbering systems to keep track of transactions, astronomical cycles and other matters. Manual calculating tools appeared on the scene a few millennia later. The Hall of Computing is an attempt to provide glimpses of the phenomenal growth of computing world through interactive exhibits, models and computer kiosks. So enjoy the world of computing from beginning to modern computers with an eye on future of computing.
