Back To Main

Light is an integral part of our lives. In earlier times, it was perceived that light consists of rays that travel in straight lines from the eye to the object and the sensation of sight is obtained when these rays touch the object, much like the sense of touch. Through a century of research works done by several scientists, we now fairly understand what light is and how it behaves.

The 'Light & Sight' gallery showcases the properties and applications of light and mechanisms that facilitate our vision through interactive exhibits, working models and multimedia presentations. The gallery also provides insight into various illusions that we experience through our visual sense.
