The new 'Science for Children' gallery presents a series of exciting exhibits, activities and mind-boggling quizzes specially designed for young children. In fact the gallery is challenging your skills. This gallery is sure to encourage everyone to adopt a scientific approach based on observation, experimentation, prediction and so on. It is about learning through interactivity and a process of discovery .

  • Make 3-dimensional objects from 2-dimensional shapes
  • Put yourself in the dresses of clown, eskimo & kathakali dancer
  • Learn about our sensory organs - Eyes, Ears, Nose, Skin and Tongue
  • Touch with your fingers all the different surfaces and identify the hidden surfaces by stretching your touch-memory
  • Observe colourful tiny sparks of lightning in a glass sphere
  • Sit on a chair that is full of nails and enjoy an experience never before.
  • Lay your hand on an elliptical carom board
  • Create colourful shadows and play with colour filters
  • Simply wave your hand above the 'Virtual Water Pond' & see ripples in virtual water
  • Computer controlled Quiz and multimedia kiosks not only educate but also entertain here
