The Sound & Hearing gallery tries to tell the story of sound & how our brain perceives a range of varied frequencies through our ear mechanism and auditory nerves. This hall will take you to the world of vibrations, as sound is nothing but vibration. The exhibits explain how do we hear, how the sound waves propagate and why, how the sound is produced and amplified and the principles on which musical instruments work. You also get an opportunity to synthesize your own music and to observe the Doppler Effect and many more interesting phenomenon on sound.
