Nehru Science Centre will organize a new programme titled Science Festival
during January 19 - 22, 2012. The festival is basically an exhibition of science
toys/kits/teaching aids and other educational resource material. Along with simple
educative toys there will be robotic toys and telescopes as well. Visitors will get an
opportunity to experience and feel the joy of science through variety of science
experiments, toys and other resource material displayed or being demonstrated at the
exhibition.
The highlight of the festival is the wide variety of hands–on activities and
demonstrations of various gadgets by the participating organizations/ agencies. We invite
you to visit the exhibition along with your students & teachers and also to
participate in the demonstrations and workshops (Registration form enclosed). The
exhibition will remain open between 10.00 am to 5.30 pm. For organized school groups entry
fee for the Centre is Rs.10/- per head & for general visitors it is Rs.25/- per head.
Kindly note that there is no separate entry fee for the Science Festival.
