NATIONAL SCIENCE DRAMA FESTIVAL

PARTICIPATE?
The competition is open to the school students up to 10th Standard.
THEME / TOPIC OF THE DRAMA
The topics for the year 2010 - 11 shall be:

Science for Society
2)
Biodiversity
3)
Energy Crisis
4)
Water Crisis
5)
A Life in Science – Biography of a
Scientist
Please
note that the play could be based on any of the above topics and should convey a definite
scientific message.

NOTE : Each State/Unit
shall select only two best teams and each UT shall send one team for Zonal level
participation. However, two best teams selected from Zonal level competition shall
participate at National level festival.
SCHEDULE
The State/
unit level Science Drama competition may be completed by November 2010, and the
Zonal level competition will be held in January 2011 at Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai. National level Science Drama Festival will be held
in September 2011 (tentative), at Bangalore (most probably)
